NO: Le bleu du blues
Blåtonene var utgangspunktet for dette maleriet, men underveis fant historien nye retninger. En fransk avisartikkel om Miles Davis og en bok om Jean-Michel Basquiat, funnet i Berlin, ble begge en del av verket. Gjennom lag av maling, tekst og collage møtes jazzens rytme og Basquiats rå, visuelle energi – en hyllest til kreativitet, improvisasjon og uventede forbindelser.

Shades of blue were the starting point for this painting, but along the way, the story took unexpected turns. A French newspaper article about Miles Davis and a book on Jean-Michel Basquiat, found in Berlin, both became part of the work. Through layers of paint, text, and collage, the rhythm of jazz meets Basquiat’s raw visual energy – a tribute to creativity, improvisation, and unexpected connections.
