Postkort fra Paris utforsker hvordan tid og tolkning preger vår erindring. I verket har jeg villet formidle en følelse av en dypt personlig hilsen som en gang ble sendt, eller kanskje ikke... som et brev som aldri helt når fram.
Verket er laget ved hjelp av foto-overføring, collage, akrylmaling, fargeblyanter, kull og maskinsøm på høykvalitets akrylpapir. Det inngår i serien The World on the Inside / The World on the Outside, hvor jeg utforsker den porøse grensen mellom våre indre opplevelser og fortolkninger av verden og den virkeligheten som omgir oss.

Postcard from Paris explores how time and interpretation shape our recollections. In this work, I wanted to evoke the feeling of a deeply personal greeting once sent — or perhaps never sent at all — like a letter that never quite arrives.
The piece is created using photo transfer, collage, acrylic paint, colored pencils, charcoal, and machine stitching on high-quality acrylic paper. It is part of the series The World on the Inside / The World on the Outside, where I explore the porous boundary between our inner experiences and interpretations of the world, and the external reality that surrounds us.
