Et lagdelt minnets landskap, bygget opp av collage-elementer, maling og fotografier av parisiske hustak. Fragmenter av arkitektur og tekst trer frem og løser seg opp, i grenselandet mellom byen utenfor og landskapet inni oss.
 
Verket er inspirert av Paul Verlaines dikt Il pleure dans mon cœur, der regnet over byen blir et ekko av et uforklarlig indre vemod – et møte mellom minner, lengsel og sted.

A layered landscape of memory, built from collage elements, paint and photographs of Parisian rooftops. Fragments of architecture and text emerge and dissolve, blurring the boundaries between the city outside and the landscape within.
 
The work was inspired by Paul Verlaine’s poem Il pleure dans mon cœur, where rain falling over the city becomes an echo of an unexplained inner melancholy – a meeting of memory, longing, and place.

• Solid wooden frame from renewable sources, 4 cm deep.
