La Dolce Vita II fortsetter den visuelle reisen gjennom Sør-Italia, med utgangspunkt i minner og fotografier fra Procida, Ischia og Amalfikysten. Fragmenter av fasader, balkonger og vinduer kommer til syne og forsvinner igjen gjennom lag av maling, fotografi og tegning. Det gjenkjennelige og det abstrakte glir over i hverandre, omtrent som minner – noen detaljer forblir overraskende klare, mens andre løser seg opp i farger, lys og stemninger.
 
Med sterke grønntoner, myke rosa flater og glimt av rødt rommer La Dolce Vita II noe av intensiteten og varmen fra Sør-Italia – ikke som et bestemt sted eller øyeblikk, men som en følelse som blir værende.

La Dolce Vita II continues a visual journey through Southern Italy, drawing on memories and photographs from Procida, Ischia and the Amalfi Coast. Fragments of facades, balconies and windows emerge and disappear through layers of paint, photography and drawing. The recognisable and the abstract overlap, much like memories themselves – some details remain surprisingly clear, while others dissolve into colour, light and atmosphere.
 
With its vivid greens, soft pinks and flashes of red, La Dolce Vita II holds on to something of the intensity and warmth of the South – not as a particular place or moment, but as a feeling that lingers.
